World AS Day website

This is a site Kathie Melocco and I collaborated on, with the aim of sending World Ankylosing Awareness Day viral. We achieved our aim, with a readership in the hundreds of thousands via syndication. Tools like Storify were used to pull blog posts together.
Kathie knew what she was looking for in terms of look and feel, which I developed in conjunction with her, and content, for which I built the framework. Lots of social media on this site, but very easy for bloggers and guest bloggers to use. This site was part of a wider World AS Day branding package.
The beautiful apple logo was generously 'loaned' to this campaign by US health activist and artist Jenna Visscher and was used as a meme for World AS Day.
The site was live for just over twelve months and achieved its initial aims.
